 Captain Scott is the owner and founder of Tiki Hut Boats and personally designed and built Tiki Time in 2019 and Tiki Time Two in 2024–2025 right here in Salem, Massachusetts.
With more than 40 years of commercial and recreational fishing experience throughout New England — and holding a USCG 100-Ton Master Near Coastal License — he knows these waters like home and brings true hands-on expertise to every cruise. 

 Captain Matt joined the Tiki Hut Boats crew in 2025 and has been working on ferries and excursion vessels in Salem and Boston harbors since his teenage years.
With extensive professional time at the helm and deep local knowledge, he knows these waters exceptionally well. When he’s not cruising with us, Matt is usually still chasing adventure — whether that’s frozen water in the mountains or paddling down a river. He holds a USCG 100-Ton Master License.

Judd joined the Tiki Hut Boats crew in 2025 and brings more than 30 years of experience navigating the waters of the North Shore.
With decades at the helm and a lifelong connection to these waters, he knows where the good runs are. When he’s not cruising with us, Judd runs his own fishing charters — and you’ll usually find him in his happiest place, out on the water chasing the next big catch. He holds a USCG OUPV License.

 Captain & Thirst Mate Karen is the owner of Tiki Hut Boats and proudly wears many hats — from First Mate to clean-up crew.
Witty, a little sassy, and always sweet, she has a gift for turning strangers into fast friends (don’t be surprised if you leave with a few new ones after 90 minutes). When she’s not on the dock or on the water, Karen loves gardening and creating spaces where people can relax and escape their worries. She holds a USCG 25-Ton Master License.
